A short waiting period
Reflect a short occupation of Mon more than 20 metres or so, mean cut-bait tipped lead head Jig fell smoothly for a few seconds, before a fish grabbed it. On light tackle, I laughed and "played" with the Pan-sized denizen of the not so deep for a bit before finally flipping the multi-coloured trigger fish over the boat moves under it.
"Man was the fast", my local leader joked.
"Nothing here, isn't it?" I teased as this time my Rod suddenly walks which popped, strongly tore down an apparent friend or related the first fish.
"What is it?"
I was the one who was on a brief stop in that site collection. We had region North along the Pacific coast of Colombia's Choco motoring, was. The rustic fishing village of Jurubida, where we have been based, was about 45 minutes behind us, if I had spotted a beautiful sight. There was it; a two-metre-wide freshwater stream over a five-metre rock face before bagging in the azure sea flows. Surrounded by emerald green tropical rain forest, the sparkling "Chorro" in a small Bay, which was just visible from the small boat traffic channel we northward in ran.
"What is it?" I had asked, show landwards of the small-looking waterfall.
"Only a few small stream of rain water, I think" my leader responds without shine.
"There drag and let me take a look to take."
"Why?" His answer came in a more curiosities sound like he 16-foot hand-in hand from wood start swung to starboard.
A closer look
It was even more beautiful up close. The brackish water pool in the torrent was overthrown one clear dark blue. This was a good sign, the it at least 20 to 25 M or more in depth was.
"This is a good place for some Panfish looks like" translated I in the best Spanish, I could.
"Here?" My guide was surprised. "I think it's all here," he continued.
I asked, "place for 15 minutes or so try". If there are no action, we would to move, and I would at least some memories in a beautiful location along the coastal rainforest.
My trusty guide was wrong
They came one after the other in the boat. All pan size, but attractive and unique in their shapes and colours; Clown fish, parrot fish, trigger fish, spots, stripes, and brilliant red fish with bright baby- blue eyes.
Even my trusty guide tried hooking few, laughing with joy almost all the time. We delivered anchor and again our journey to the North after about an hour or so. But this point was about the closest that I ever come to catch fish in a barrel. And you would like to tell you I, it was certainly a lot of fun.
