The perfect storm of night for tropical salt water fishing

We where?

"It's better if you wear some sneakers", said Orlando.

"Wear sneakers, where?" I was puzzled look in a pitch black December night while seasonal storm rain hit the roof as an angry mob.

"We go fishing", he answered objectively.

"In THIS!" Disbelief I snapped back.

"It is the best time to go"

The wettest region of the world

Three seconds after I stepped away from the veranda in the rain I was soaked through the skin. The Pacific Coast Choco region of Colombia is one of the wettest areas of the world according to the Guinness Book of world records. With more than 30 feet - is the right feet - accumulation of rain per year. Ranged from the floor to the fourth floor of a building can reach. Probably only Noah has consistently seen rain like this.

It was so black out that I could barely make my locally-born and raised fishing buddy and demonstrate just a few steps. A woven straw basket, called a "Motete", was thrown over one shoulder. A six-foot diameter cast net, called a "Atarraya" has been draped over the other. My Baltimore Orioles Baseball Cap kept the chords of the liquid by directly battering my eyes and face.

Walled House opposite the crashing surf force our way through sheets of water from bamboo from less than 200 metres away, we saw our way like flashes at sea lit.
I felt the warm waters of the Pacific ocean swell and surge to my calves. We went right into the ocean.

"This basket to take and wait here" Orlando shouted above the roar of the rain and pounding surf.

Cast your net on the waters

Steel themselves against the currents from above and the salt water swells he played it on the net before. With effort he attracted now again the network in the network's tie line to close and draw. I moved in closer. Lightning Flash sheds light on the network, since it apparently "the receding surf cooked".

"Help me get it up and dump it." He had hardly matters.

It took the two of us lift the aufbÀumenden mass and empty that dozens of fish in the basket. Later we had less than a dozen casts as many fish in the basket, it took the us both draw on half, half it carry back to the House. An hour passed, as we more than 100 fish eight or so kinds sorted.

It was a perfect night storm to tropical salt water fishing.
